Hampton Park Fish & Chips - Berwick

This used to be a great place to buy Fish and Chips but a recent visit (after moving away from the area years ago), found me regretting my decision to return. As I entered, the place looked tired as did the staff who ignored me for at least a couple of minutes before taking my order. Upon opening my order atmy friends place, we realised half the orderwas missing, chips were soggy and my Spring Roll was so overcooked it was dark brown and hard to bite into. Very disappointed and wont return.

Took away some flake fish for dinner. The fish was batter fried to a golden brown perfection. Packed in the traditional paper, it was a sight to behold as the wrapping style is the olden, traditional style of packing of these fish & chips. The fish was moist, tender and delicious. Batter was perfect. The only thing missing is a piece of lemon/lime to sprinkle on to the fish and some mayonnaise. Other than that, it was perfect.

You can find the most delicious potato cakes and crispy chips at this restaurant.

This restaurant has the best and most amazing service. I always enjoy getting four potato cakes with lots of salt and vinegar. The owners are very polite and generous. I have never enjoyed food from fish and chip shops before, but I can't wait to come back for their daily specials.

Fish n chip are good Gere and the people serve you well and are polite.Would recommend ghis place to anyone.
