Yooji's Westside - Bern

Had lunch here with friends last week, and what a real treat is was, great dishes passing in front of you as you sit at the bar, you can lift then off and place on a sensor beside you to see what the dish is....Good selection of hot and cold foods, I enjoyed lovely fresh beans, the Tuna was excellent and a nice cool beer to wash it all down. The staff were efficient and helpful. Will definitely return again.

A place which was refreshing my souvenirs of Tokyo ... You have a tablet in front of you which does allow to order any specials like drinks, salads, soups or sashimi (my favourite . In parallel a belt is rolling in front of you where you...can pick different plates (the colour of the plate is here for the different price levels . You have also a reader integrated in the table which allows you to read on your screen the composition of the food. Today, the season special rolls were excellent (including asparagus, smoked salmon and flowers , sashimi was extremely fresh and tasty and both the wakame/cucumber and the algae's salads were delicious. Add a sake degustation (three different types and finish your lunch like Japanese with a real traditional miso soup (really the same taste I had in Tokyo . CHF 131.00 for two is in the higher range but far away from the best Sushi places in Tokyo (there count CHF 10.00 per sushi piece but remember that it is poesy art, not food that you taste !!! Summarized for a new place since December 2013, this is an excellent start, pricing to be fine tuned to attract more customers. For sure, we will come back !!!

They have very good chefs and excellent eating I recommend having a healthy and Asian kitchen experience.

The sushis are terrible, cold and dry, as if they were made too long in advance. 6 small teller for 60th bad price for bad sushi.
