Marcel's Marcili - Bern

Marcels marcili was a nice restaurant in a really cool neighbourhood! The terrace was a nice spot to sit. It was a bit expensive, but the food was really good! Good place to go with non-vegans vegans

This restaurant is located near the exit point for most river swimmers (and boaters) so if that gets you hungry, this is your closest option. Three burgers now, no more curry. Not a huge selection, maybe also consider the nearby Schwellenmätteli. Updated from previous review on 2020-08-21

The waitress with the tattoo on her arm rejected us, she was very rude and tried to get rid of me and my brother, although the 2 of us were of course perfectly dressed and they had at least 4 empty seats. I had the feeling she was just too lazy to put a table for us. Well, she never has to do this for me again, I will of course avoid this place in the future.

I've been there twice, and both times the food was just awful! I would only recommend this place to go have a drink for the location.
