Bidrage med feedbackGreat place to swim and relax, it's a shame there was a disgusting guy there today who harassed, stalked and provoked people (Antonio Guarini)! The mood was actually very pleasant until he came and it was a lot of fun. He should be banned from the house!
Nice grounds to relax in with natural tree shade. There is a kiddy area or quiet area and the food is good.
Probably my favorite urban alternative river bath. In winter they have sauna yurts. In summer relaxed atmosphere and can be a refuge from the crowds. Not to be missed.
Bijou small and unique The Lorraine Bath is the smallest public bath in Bern and is probably only so popular as a starting point for a swim in the Aare River. The pool in the pool is rather uncomfortable because the water is cloudy and usually too cold. The bottle entry with stairs is most used by children who like to play there with a little influence. There are several lying areas, but they quickly seem overcrowded. The restaurant in the Lorrainebad is very popular. There are green salads, hamburgers, nuggets and drinks here. There are lots of comfortable seating areas right next to the pool, some on the bridge over the pool! There are many showers and toilets here. For the very little ones there is a small swimming pool with a playground. Swimming in the Aare is particularly popular here because the Aare flows more slowly. A tip for winter: In the cold season there is an open air sauna in yurts. Hard core people can cool off in the cold Aare or in the pool!
Best swimming pool in Bern. Without a real swimming pool, it's more for Aare fans
