Zum Hufeisen - Berlin

The hufeisensiedlung was declared a World Heritage Site in 2008. the restaurant “Zum Hufeisen” is located in the middle of the settlement, directly in the Hufeisen building. it is a neat Croatian restaurant, led by the friendly owner family. the Croatian cuisine is generally meat loaded. the cuisine of the restaurant is mainly concerned with grilled meals. there is only a small selection for the vegetarian at certain times (season). for the vegetarian: sweetheart, tasty grilled cheese and not only the very appreciated baked camembert. the portions are quite large, as with most croats. there are some “small dishes” offered, of which they are well fed. which is not enough to dessert the delicious seafood or ice cups are recommended. in summer they can sit on the terrace with views in the inner of the horses. because the restaurant is located on the quiet fritz reuter avenue, is a visit to a beautiful, warm summer evening fantastic. they should not be too late: in normal operation, if there is no party, very much attention to the closing time is 23.00 h. for smokers there is a separate smoker room. because this is also used for events up to 40 people, the smokers sometimes have to go in front of the door. then they can look back into the horses.

We have a nice reception! The store was full inside and outside, but we didn't have to wait long and be served nicely. Price performance is absolutely fair! Plates for 2 people and 2 beers for 35€ I find absolutely top! Quality of food was also 5 stars. We like to come back.
