Tres Tapas - Berlin

We had a variety of Tapas starting with the sampler platter. Everything tasted good! My favorite was the dates wrapped in bacon. The Sangria was delicious as well1

We visited early January and I think it was quieter than usual, passing this place at other times it has been busy. Anyway, we had a really relaxed and chilled out tapas meal, with really good wine. The decor and feel is good, and the...staff efficient. The menu has a good range of warm and cold tapas dishes, which is great if you want to pick, graze and share. We are vegetarians and could easily find a good range of options although it would help if the venue labelled the dishes in some way, to make that process quicker. We had a bottle of wine, some fizzy water, several dishes each with bread, and the bill was around 40 euros, so it was reasonbly priced I think. Plenty of cool bars around the area to pop in to afterwards, as well.

Party of 6 got a table on the pavement without reserving, although they were fairly busy. Two of the party had a main course which got good marks (chicken stuffed with cheese and chorizo, glazed beans). The remaining 4 shared some tapas we...had about 8 or 9. All were good without being remarkable (although I missed out on the monkfish wrapped in bacon with lentil salad which also got good marks). Bottle of wine, soft drinks for the kids, bottle of water and a beer, came to €110. You could drive yourself insane looking for the perfect restaurant in Prenzlauer Berg sometimes its better to just take a chance. You won't be disappointed if you try Tres.
