Schwarzwaldstuben - Berlin

Came here on my first trip to berlin sausage salat was average, the late zle sausage and lenses for the main however was excellent. the service really leaves the dinge, no warmth or friendliness. just put them down to eat and that was it would have liked... that tried dessert but not very welcome

The place is beautiful and the eating is good (big cheeses and carvings.) but the waiter speeches limited English, we were told at the beginning that a certain court was over, only to see others ordering and getting it and we. were only informed at the end that only German cards were accepted. when we later checked the bill (after we left) we realized that there were three additional fees for a total of 13 € for drinks that we had not ordered. everything in all it was good to eat, but bad experience and expensive due to the wrong cost.

We were here regularly and eating was always excellent. Unfortunately, they can only go for the beer that is still brilliant. that seemed simply not fresh today, and the small portions were small. pretty sure that brot does not handmade. as claimed, only average industrial stuff. very sad to say they have lost themselves a regular customer.

This was formerly a very friendly local pub. now it has become a terrible tourist trap. as a native I came regularly. Now it's just a big disappointment. Today, the waitress was actually quite rude, the flaky cake was cold, and when I. kindly mentioned that she was just scrubbing it off, and that wasn't the first time I had made such an experience.

We always eat here at least once on our Berlin trips. The service speaks excellent English, is very warm and quick. Extra requests are fulfilled immediately. A real difference to many restaurants in Mitte. The food is authentic and of excellent quality. The prices are...moderate and the beer is excellent. We absolutely recommend the smoked and cooked pork with Swabian potato salad, the Spätzle with cheese or the sausage salad with fried potatoes. And do not miss the Kaiserschmarren for dessert, it's delicious. The restaurant is very cosily furnished and you can also sit outside. We can only recommend it. You are not treated like a typical tourist and unlike in many other restaurants in Berlin Mitte you get great quality for your money. It's a shame that Corona has caused such great restaurants like the Schwarzwaldstuben to suffer. We'll come back here as soon as we're back in Germany!
