Restaurant Fischschuppen - Berlin

It was a rather surprising opportunity but when it showed I took it! I love good fish and the occasional bit of cheating with a handful (or two) of fries. The guy behind the counter works with a real Berlin attitude and the infamous „Berliner Schnauze“ which is a kind of interaction I really enjoy. Fish and Chips is a classic „quick and dirty“ dish which is perfect on a breezy, sunny day if you ask me. It was a very satisfactory dish but what I will remember was the amazing fish!! That was amazing and I will definitely go back for a simple bun with fresh fish to indulge more into this fishy deliciousness!!

We went in for fish and chips, but eventually I ordered the special of the day wich was ravioli with sea bass, but my friend had the F&C. Both were delicious! Especially because they were made there, in front of us! We loved it! Will definitely come back!

Great tasting fish and chips (pollack). Good sized portions at an affordable price. With the correct vinegar. Good choice of beers. As a suggestion: maybe try the Scottisch recept for home made tartar sauce. We will come back here for sure.

The fish and chips were excellent and the fish as well. There was the right white wine recommendation and the price-quality ratio is right. Sauce was excellent. Fish looked very fresh. Although the service could be slow, I will definitively come back.

Came here for a dinner on Sunday night. We wanted the mixed grilled fish for 2 , but were told they didn't have much fish left! I guess this was as it was Sunday night.Instead I had trout and my husband had plaice.The fish was beautifully cooked and came with some of the best chips I have ever had! There was also a nice mixed salad and mustard mayonnaise.We both had a drink and the bill was 41 euros.
