Liu Dai Quan Papaya Restaurant - Berlin

Me and my family grabbed a quick dinner after a long days traveling. We had both sushi and Thai food. Cheap food and you get what you pay for but it was ok. Beer from Germany, Thailand, China and Japan. Takes only cash.

The food is actually not too bad. I was desperate for asian food and the place looked affordable. I was prepared for the worst type of asian take-out in a european city but the place surprised me with value for money chomps. I ordered a main and an orange juice and was surprised when they gave me a half filled glass. Just when i was about to protest, the proprietor placed a bottle of apple juice on the table as well and said they ran out of orange and hoped the apple would be compensation... needless to say i was grateful for the generosity. Most would just say they ran out and won't bother with giving extra.

Have eaten takeaway from here many times. Chinese food is average but convenient. Sushi better than average

The name Fast Restaurant is very suitable for this place. If you have a quick meal and want to taste well, this restaurant is the right one. I had ordered a part of pasta with peanut sauce, I can only recommend the sauce.

One of the strangest Asian shops in Berlin, if not even the strangest. Operation is more rough than polite. They will be done relatively quickly at the cashier, but that somehow gives the thing an attractive character. They immediately notice that the operation over speed and not comfort (there is no service, only one counter). The selection is huge, but is also advertised as confusing. Numbered menu characters are hanging everywhere, but they do not follow any logic and are not even sorted. In summary, only the following is on the map: poultry, meat or tofu with rice or noodles and sharp sauce, sweet-saur sauce or peanut sauce. Somehow it is possible to conjure 50 different menus. Prices are appropriate for the area and are also good in view of the large shares. The food itself is not a culinary revelation. The restaurant, its facilities and the hectic climate do not necessarily invite you to stay, you will rather eat your food in the office or nearby parks. Everything in an astiatic snack that conveys this charm and makes everything right.
