Kaffee Karamell - Berlin

The coffee Karamell is located in the beautiful Friedrichshain in Berlin. In the neighborhood we spent four a short holiday. On the way to the metro stop we passed the café every day. The offers on the table and the scent of coffee and freshly baked rolls enchanted us, so on the last day of our trip we decided to make a late breakfast there. We arrived at a Saturday at the café without reservation. All the tables were occupied, but fortunately we were able to sit at a table that had just been released. To drink we ordered hot mint, hot chocolate, coffee and fresh orange juice. The drinks (especially the hot chocolate) were beautifully prepared and there was a small self-baked cookie. Salads, various breakfast plates, cereal, fresh baked pastries and sandwiches are offered for dinner. We decided twice for the farmhouse breakfast and once for the Mediterranean and Oriental breakfast. The peasant breakfast was an omelette with eggs, potatoes, ham, onions and parsley. The Mediterranean and Oriental breakfast consisted of various fruits and vegetables, spreads, a cooked egg, sausage and cheese. There was also a bread basket with whole grain and wheat bread for everyone. Breakfast was just great. The various paintings were the highlight for me. The service was very friendly. We had to pay before we left in front of the checkout. Since the pastry looked so delicious, I also took an apple bag for the homeway, which was packed into a paper bag. Overall, we made a good decision. The price is very fair and affordable for young people. If I stop in Berlin Friedrichshain at some point, I will come back!

It was great. The food has tasted very well, perfect portion size. Beautiful atmosphere, could be kept clean in some places. Dirt on the tables Otherwise we liked the style very well. Unfortunately, my wish was not received, the cheese on the map was not to do with the dish because I would not eat it and it would only be food waste.

Really great service, have rarely experienced so fast and then also very friendly service. The food was dressed deliciously and also tasted very well. Recommendation from us: Avocad-Brot with scrambled eggs Next time:

I'm a big fan of coffee caramel! Breakfast is totally rich and delicious. The menus cover different things, there are fruits, vegetables, different cheeses and fresh cheeses. The fresh cheese is different every time, so you are always surprised. The drinks also taste very good and the staff is extremely friendly. The whole thing at a top price! For a breakfast with a drink you pay approx. 10€, you can't complain about it.

The coffee caramel is my absolute favorite café when it comes to breakfast and usually relaxed morning. For an oriental breakfast, which can also be eaten loosely to two, you only pay €7.90, which I find completely fine. We come to two for a really extensive breakfast with freshly squeezed juices and a 2nd coffee mostly at about 30€. Since we are all breakfast fans, we have actually visited some other cafés and often paid more and received significantly less. We have 10 out of 5 stars <3
