Bidrage med feedbackIt was just great! Thank you. we like to come back :
We were at the 3rd of 6:00 am to 20:15 pm in The Rooster is dead. Although it was announced that the table would be reserved for only 1 h 45 minutes, we were allowed to remain unpronounced longer. The time has just been enough for all four courses. On the one hand, we are slow eaters, on the other hand we had a lot to tell ourselves. Around 8 p.m. it was very hectic in the guest room, because the tables all had to be clean and re-covered, so I give only four stars for the ambience. The service was very attentive and friendly. And did not try to give us the feeling that we were no longer desired when they told us they needed the table for other guests. The food was delicious. We had a pumpkin soup that was served us. Next came a small salad to make up for yourself, that were different leaf salads, roasted hazelnuts and three counted figs. As the main course we had fish and a lentil ragout. Both dishes were delicious, especially tasty the Lakritzsoße was to fish. It has completely upgraded and harmoniously connected the individual components, in particular the beet-potato puree. The sauce even tasted my colleague, who likes Lakritz otherwise. I'd go back and try another menu.
The disadvantage is the low time window for the food. Taking a menu in two hours is not a good idea.
Mixture of French and German cuisine. The food was relatively flat in taste. Service rather slow.
Great menu that leaves nothing to be desired.
