Bidrage med feedbackI had this place bookmarked to try, and on my last night in Berlin, I made the half hour trip over to check it out. Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, this is far from a flash tourist place. The sign over the door touts slow food and that pretty much sums up my experience. I arrived, alone, to a restaurant that was empty inside but pretty full on their patio maybe eight tables total. I took a table for one outside around the corner from the door. It was 45 minutes from when I arrived until I got my pizza. I had to go inside to ask for dessert and the check, and there found the two waitresses standing by the bar chatting. I know service in Europe is not like the US, but really? Check on your tables! The food itself left much to be desired. I 'm gluten free, so I was really excited to try their buckwheat pizza. It was thin, undercooked, and bland the pizza bases you buy at the grocery store are better. The gluten free cheesecake was really dry and the base was just off. I certainly wouldn 't go out of my way to eat here, and personally, I wouldn 't recommend it. Maybe the gluten food is better, but I 'll never know.
Travelled from mitte to get a gluten free pizza, arrived 70mins before closing and was told that we couldn't get any food as they'd started to tidy away. Disappointed
Best gluten free and non gluten free pizza in town. Desert was excellent too and staff are super friendly... must visit!
This place was around the corner and offered GF pizza! They make it in its own pan with a buckwheat crust which is very thin. A great find!
