China Fahne - Berlin

Kantstrasse is a hotspot for great asian food, but Do De Li was the best I had yet. chinese cuisine wih great noodle soup dishes, house specialties and nice atmosphere and not too heavy on the wallet. it seems very authentic - to me as a westerner at least - and it sure was not my last visit.

Kantstrasse ist the Berlin Version of China Town in Berlin. Recently, more and more fancy Asian places opened up along Kantstrasse but there are also some traditional ones left and one of these is Do De Li. It's a family run business or so it appears. The back end of the restaurant looks more like a living room with book shelves and a piano. Food and atmosphere is authentic and great. You see many Chinese people come here which I take as a good sign. Prices are fair but be prepared to wait for the food.

It looks like it's a family business, they even have a very kind dog. the dishes are delicious, and they also have special dishes. I feel it is a winter place more than a summer destination. I recommend it for not commercial. Chinese food lovers!

After we stumble on this place and feel like some Chinese, we decided to take the punt and risk it. beautiful ambiente and very busy with Asian people, so something could go wrong. frieder reis was terrible fat and had no taste. other courts apartment out. spring rolls that were nice, the same were not tasted and loads great. that's the least. super surprised by all he good reviews to be honest. we will not go for seconds.

The restaurant looks overwhelming red from outside the interior is much more beautiful than its cover good eating and yes they have delicious rice noodles (mi xian)! service was very friendly.
