Chicago Steakhouse - Berlin

Price performance ratio did not vote. For this price, I expect more service. A table further was offered when paying a bag. Not us.

31.12.2022, my wife's birthday! We had opted for an annual change in Berlin and for the 31st at 20.00 a.m. the Chicago was selected as it was near our hotel and we liked the ambience and reviews. Friendly welcome, quick service of the young, also very friendly service. We ordered 2 appetizers and 2 steak dishes, 2 aperol, a bottle of red wine and water. The drinks came fast and were excellent. Then the disaster started: After approx. 20 minutes another waiter with steak dishes appeared. We refused because we wanted to eat our appetizers, which came after another 20 minutes. Quality excellent! Then we waited approx. 1 hour and 30 minutes on the main dishes after we had asked twice, whether there would be the main food for us. 22:03, i.e. 3 minutes after the closing of business, the steak courts were brought. My wife was very “english” and cold and replaced for a new little piece after complaint. About 22:30! My court was okay, but it wasn't. In the meantime, my wife, meanwhile sour, asked the service for the chef/restaurant manager, as the supplemental spinach was also “not doll”. She was told she could like to go to the kitchen!!! As a “decompensation” came, nicely for my wife a plate full of cake residues. But there was a miracle candle on it. Only the cake was really bad. We were glad to leave the restaurant shortly before 23:00. Conclusion: Appetizers class, wine super, steaks not worth the price, organization and service very expandable. The alleged “restaurant manager” was not willing to intervene or speak with us, but remained at a safe distance and spoke only with the service. Not again!

The avocados in the avocado salad were unfortunately still very hard and the oat flakes in the salad did not really fit. Nevertheless, the food was super delicious.

Tatar: Onions should be served as a supplement and not mixed into the chop. And that for almost €20. The meat at the main dishes was very good. The supplements on the plates were in need of reconciliation (2 very large half patriarchs). Operation was super attentive and friendly.

A wonderful local - a very pleasant welcome. the menu is very good for meat lovers - a steakhouse! very good quality of the food - a dream and the service is always very good laughed!
