Bidrage med feedbackThe food is wonderful and the portions are quite big. Very friendly staff. Unfortunately the location is not very nice, as it is next to the street and seating outdoor can be pleasant. however we were in a quiet evening and we enjoyed eating outside. The menu has quite a choice and you can get lost in it :
Just last week, departing the Hohenzollern U3 tube station, I saw an attractive terrace and new restaurant on the corner of the Hohenzollerndamm and Duesseldorfer Strasse. On trips to London I discovered years ago the wonderful varied and healthy Lebanese cuisine. After concerts it was especially pleasant to dine in these as one can compose one 's own courses . The appetizers of the MidEast are justifiably famous and these often were the core of an after concert souper. Thus it was very nice to discover "Assala: , only a few weeks open. I even at lunch prefer light and balanced fare. The most friendly and capable waitress permitted me a half portion hummus as I was still hungry after the excellent spinach light pastries. She recommended a lovely 'BlutenTee ' which was the ideal drink after these two light lunch courses.A big 'plus ' for me is the absence of irritating 'background ' music which mostly becomes 'Vorgrund Musik '. I look forward to savouring their Sunday brunch!
I had a lovely meal here sat at a table outside in the lovely February sunshine. I had a falafel plate with falafel, of course, mixed salad, hummous, chips, flatbreads and tahini. I had a non-alcoholic Lebanese beer to wash it down. The food was amazing, especially the falafel (I’ve never had any as nice as these! and the service was pleasant and attentive. It’s also literally steps from the U-Bahn entrance/exit, which makes it very handy.
Food is prepared fresh and is tasty. I had lamb biryani which I liked better than lammspiess. Tasty teas too.
Sensational Sunday Brunch. Great selection and good price. Very child-friendly. Existing operation. Here you can be filled with relaxation.
