Bidrage med feedbackThe restaurant is located on a quiet and secluded square. Not bad on the outside, nice on the inside. Decent toilets. I took the midday menu. Great price (5.90 euros) for a vegetarian menu, but the food was so-so (for example, the basmati rice was not particularly fresh, but already a little dry). The presentation was not nice, the food was in a military-type metal tray. Bad idea. I hope this is not the case in the evening as well. Still the food was passable.
I overall enjoyed my experience at Aastha Restaurant and just loved their indian dish Matar Aloo and dessert Gulaab Jamun .
The ambiance was just like other German food joints only some Bollywood songs will feel you Indian presence. They're keen to impress the Germans instead of their own country people. The food was super bad in terms of Indian taste buds though the foreigner will like it as there was no hint of masala or spiciness. Finally, it's one of the expensive Indian food joints you'll ever find in Berlin.
Everything was just amazing. I visited with my family. People are very warm welcoming. We ordered different curries and indian naan. As indidian,i can judge the taste and it was just like home. For sure, will visit soon.
