Bricks Mortar - Berlin

Quite the find is this place. Food is absolutely excellent, and staff are really friendly and helpful. A definite regular for me, lucky to have such a great place in Samariterkiez!

Lovely coffee shop in Friedrichshain. We really like the toasted sandwiches for lunch, especially the Tuna melt one.

The ciabatta sandwich was delicious but the downside is…. Having to wait 35 minute for a sandwich, which I had to have it to-go in the end as I was pressed for time. Would recommend going during off-peak hours as there might not be enough manpower in kitchen to serve a big crowd

Stopped here for a late breakfast whilst on our way to the Stasimusuem. Very friendly staff, excellent coffee and great food! We had the blueberry pancakes and the eggs benedict, both with extra bacon. Very filling. The pancakes came with caramelised pear pieces on top which were particularly good. Nice calm atmosphere, staff spoke both German and English.
