Vito's Pizza - Berlin

Tried this place for the first time a few weeks ago and it was so delicious!! The crust was so tasty and they did not skimp on the toppings! I usually don't go for thin crust pizza but this is my new favorite go to!! Also, I heard that you'll wait a while if you call around dinner time so if you don't mind waiting then it's fine but honestly I called around 4:00 and it was ready in 25 minutes!!

Berlin is not lacking in pizza spots. There are zero bagel spots, but pizza about every five feet. Nonetheless, who doesn't want to try the hot new spot? Vito's used to be in Hartford, but post-Covid they're now a takeout spot in the suburbs, and Berlin's lucky to be their landing spot. We didn't go wrong with basic cheese on a standard thin crust and red sauce. The chicken pesto wasn't skimpy on either title ingredient, and was generous with tomato while staying a white pie. The Berlin Fair makes sausage and onion look like a party, with a confetti of thin peppers all over. Each pie had a standard thin crust (not New Haven thin, but it doesn't have to be). There's a Chicago pie on the menu if that's your thing. The pasta menu is our next adventure here! Vito's Pizza is takeout only but there's comfy seating if you're traveling through or arrive early. Being takeout there aren't white tablecloths, but it's an airy, fresh, clean new space--fresh interior to match the fresh pie. Being take out and all, I didn't notice beer or bottle service, but there's a package store at the light a block south. Easy peasy.

Absolitrly the worst customer service Ive ever received. I waited 35 minutes after ordering 45 minutes prior. They then gave one of my pizzas away and then made it seem like it was my fault. The girls at the front are rude, inexperienced , overwhelmed, and out of their league. I was then given a cold pizza (1 of the 2 I ordered). Maybe they can get their act together in the future or else i would NEVER recommend this place to anyone . I would give it a half star if I could. Terrible

The pizza was excellent! I recently tried the bolognese with fresh pasta and will definitely be returning for more. There was no wait when I called ahead. Looking forward to placing catering orders through this restaurant.

I have been ordering from Vito’s since they opened. Wonderful Food quality and service every time! Want a treat? Order the Meaty Bolognese with their fresh made pasta. Outstanding!
