Assateague Crab House - Berlin

Wow, absolutely yes! This restaurant is located near Assateague Island, making it a perfect spot to enjoy the beaches and see the wild horses before a casual meal. The seafood boil we ordered was exactly what you would expect from a New England dining experience. Everything was cooked to perfection, and they served White Sweet corn, which was a delightful surprise! I even enjoyed their coleslaw; it was fresh and not overly drenched in mayonnaise. The seasoning was traditional and just right. The service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

Set back from the road, this place advertises an AYCE feast that is only available on Monday. A bit disappointing but we forged ahead. Servers here are stellar, quick to meet your needs from photography to sides. Plates are huge and the crabs are fresh. I had the seafood platter and found it to be passable. The scallops however, were tough and rubbery while other items appeared to be more fresh. Their hush puppies are delicious. More donut than savory but with a marvelous crunch. The place is designed to make you feel as though you are eating at a wharf with super good service.

When in Ocean City, everyone is looking for the best seafood, especially blue crabs. We stumbled upon this restaurant which was great for everyone because they had something on the menu for everyone. We went for dinner. We went about an hour and a half before closing. The seafood platters, were good, The all you can eat crab were a little disappointing. They were light and small due to the fact that they were closing soon we felt rushed by the waitress. I would suggest trying this restaurant in the day so you'll have more time to enjoy the food and maybe a better crab selection. Over all the experience was okay. I would suggest the seafood platter with the lobster on in. It was a lot of food for a decent price. Enjoy!

Not just for crabs!...Comfortable casual dining, crab house decor. AYCE handheld sandwiches, including fresh, hand-patted burgers, fried chicken and seafood platters. Extensive beer wine list, also a full service bar, detached from dining rooms. Nice friendly staff, indoor outdoor seating....not just for crabs anymore !

Excellent wait staff, food was delicious, restaurant was very clean, not your average seafood place. The wait staff were very polite. My new favorite ocean city seafood place!
