Skates On The Bay - Berkeley

We went to berkeley for a half day tour and had a late lunch in this skates on the bay. we had one of the best tables near the far with a panoramic view of the bay of san francisco, the golden gate bridge, the bay bridge and the skyline of the city sf. I ordered the crabcakes as I lived in maryland for 4 years and loved blue crabs and the old bay seasoning! after the meal you can take a postprandial walk along the bay before as we, while sunset hours above the golden gate bridge! highly recommended!

Super view of the bay of san francisco, the city, sausalito, the golden gate bridge, alcatraz, the bay bridge and everything else in the bay. directly on the water, upscale menu with steak, lobster, large calamari and many other dishes. the best wine card. highly recommended.

Great location, on the water in the bay. large restaurant, many seats at the windows. open layout, view of the bay also for customers who sit away from the window. eating is great, small portions, but beautiful presentation. they have a free dessert for a person who celebrates a birthday. the waiters even put a small candle on the cream bubble. granddaughter was happy to blow the candle for oma. many free parking. beautiful place.

We had dinner here to celebrate a friend birthday. the seafood was fresh and decent. the lobster bisque and california roll were really good, all the other items we ordered were good, but easy over price.

What a fantastic location! Right on the water overlooking the City of San Francisco! Delicious food and drink. One drawback was that our server was very annoying with constantly trying to up sell us throughout the dinner. We also felt rushed. It was a short very pleasant walk from the Doubletree Hilton.
