Bidrage med feedbackWe tried the kefta sando, sumac fries, crispy pita salad. All were very delicious. My favorite was the salad and I liked the blood orange and fresh pita chips in combination with everything. Flavors were excellent and even my traditional Egyptian husband enjoyed it so you know it was tastey. There was also baraka (a Middle Eastern/Muslim term to denote blessings that in this case made the food bountiful enough to feed multiple people in our family). Highly recommend.
I went in December of 2022 and LOVED IT! My friend and I ordered a few items and shared. The service was great and food outstanding. I’m eagerly awaiting the reopening so I can go again!
I ate here back in the summer with my mom who was visiting and we thought to check it out since it had received good reviews for authenticity and quality but were sadly mistaken. While some dishes are interesting like the Mezze plate which we shared, overall I found it overpriced and the staff rude. Recommend avoiding. There are other middle eastern restaurants in the area that have more affordable options for the same if not better quality.
Way overpriced for what you get. My friend and I went for a brunch. $16 for two eggs??? Unreal. Service was rude, wait time long. The food tasted bland. An insult to real middle eastern cuisine. Recommend avoiding. Try Zaytoon or Chez Mansour. This place simply isn't worth it.
This Palestinian Californian restaurant is a Jewish, Christian, and Muslim friendly establishment that serves amazing and beautifully curated food, all the while by being a part of the community. The owner and their staff are always friendly and the food is oh so delicious. My favorites are the knafeh pancake and mezze platter, but that crispy chicken sandwich also has a special place in my heart! This establishment has been CLOSED for a few months now for relocation, but please continue supporting local Palestinian restaurants.
