Bidrage med feedbackI?ve been eating here for almost 20 years and it?s my favorite Indian food in the Bay Area. Consistently great quality food and service. It?s a little pricier than other places but worth every cent. These guys know their spices and have never disappointed with amazing dishes.
Hands down one of my favorite Indian places. Great vegetarian and meat options. A particular favorite is the paneer vindaloo. The samosas are also really tasty. Also, as the name suggests, the breads are tasty. Order some raita and more bread than you think you need and enjoy!
I ordered chicken tikka masala and garlic naan through Caviar. Delivery arrived earlier than expected?amazing. The food, not so much. The tikka masala tasted like sambar (a South Indian lentil dish) in a bad way and the garlic naan was nearly pungent (coming from someone who loves garlic). Ended up throwing most of it. Pretty gross, wouldn?t recommend.
So lucky to have found this place. Our new favorite Indian spot. The food was absolutely delicious and you could tell a certain amount of care and effort was put into it. There were many dishes on here that I had not seen before. I ordered the jackfruit masala and my husband got saag paneer, along with some piratha and garlic herb kulcha (naan). So so so good, and the service was very fast (ready to go in less than 15 min). We are out in Walnut Creek but will be coming back as soon as we can!
My husband and I adore this little gem! Whenever we eat here or get takeout, we feel like we?ve eaten a home-cooked meal of Indian food and it warms our hearts and our bellies. We are so grateful for Breads of India being nestled in our neighborhood.
