Amelie Café - Bergisch Gladbach

Yesterday I took a break outside the café to take a little bite. There were 3 tables. I was immediately greeted by the door, but waited almost 10 minutes until a young man came out, who did not come to me, but only took up the order at the side table, from two ladies who had just set themselves up. Obviously regular customers. I was about to get up and go. Then he kindly picked up the order from me. The flame cake was good. You could also drink the cappuccino. But because of the waiting time for a few guests and the 10 minutes ignoring, I think the service is safe to expand.

It offers delicious cakes, waffles and other small snacks, and also the selection of teas and coffees are very good. Too bad that there are less and less of such cafes here and more and more bakery chains..

Unfortunately there is not much positive to report... The owner is very unfriendly, cordiality is not great here, smile is a foreign word here. In addition, absolutely no relaxation atmosphere, as apparently her son with friendly children roamed around in the cafe. The door stood up and the smoker's qualm also pulled in. Don't come back.

The waffle with hot cherries we enjoyed here was excellent, the operation economical friendly, but you sat very cozy on the terrace.

Numerous Bensberger are here for a short time during their shopping trip and enjoy a drink. In summer often on the outdoor terrace.
