Bidrage med feedbackWe were looking for a café in Bergen, went up a street and on a building we saw the coffee house: we were looking for a parking lot and went to Café Meyer. The owner bakes and serves. Cake in not too large selection, but very tasty, correct confectionery, the cappuccino also very good. Now in January there is little on the island. We were the only guests, a young woman came in and took cake. The cake is very good. Prices are strong for the area. Tourists spend light money, but they are now gone. Thanks Corona! We had a piece of cheesecake, a cake like Lübecker Nusstorte with Marzipan and two cappuccino. Make together € 13.80. We talked to the owner, we just missed the customer. The longer Corona takes, the fewer guests come to her beautiful café. Very recommended!
Cosy coffee house in Bergen on Rügen in the old town center, the cake is very tasty and homemade. The coffee also tastes. However, prices are not exactly favourable. It may be that Berliners, Hamburgers or Düsseldorfer consider the price-performance ratio appropriately. For MV citizens, the café is already inexpensive.
Café Meyer in Bergen on Rügen has reopened since autumn 2020. The new owner understands her craft and prepares delicious cakes and cakes. At the moment in the Corona-charged time you can spontaneously walk past and make yourself beautiful for the coffee table. I find a real light look in Bergen!
The last time I was at Café Meyer, oh you've been back for so many years. In the last Rügen holiday in February 2014 we will be back in. And somehow it was like that time. Only that the grandma can no longer be there. On old-made furniture, the old dark, like poppy ground. All this reminded me of the visits here, with my grandma, who made the day round after a visit to the hospital. A very nice service that brought us two delicious cappuccino. Somehow, the visit to the cafe, over 100 years old, was like a small journey of memory for me. I sat at the window, as before, and watched on the street the passing people, with the collar, pushed hands deep into the pockets and with caps pulled deep into the face, running through the cold. It was really like I used to sit here as a kid with my grandma and what does that tell me? The Cafe Meyer is just as beautiful and equally well visited. And all this after so many years. It is not for nothing, the oldest and most traditional Konditorei coffee house, on the island of Rügen. That's good. It's really good.
Very recommended café on Rügen! During our last holiday on Rügen we are also in the Café Meyer with friends. That it poured out like cans, we could fortunately forget in the only atmosphere of the café. In addition to the great cakes and coffee, we liked the beautiful ambience of the house. You immediately felt comfortable and didn't want to leave the house anymore. The staff was also polite and competent to us. Too bad that due to the weather we could not use the very welcoming looking terrace. If we should be back at sunshine in Bergen, it will definitely be retrieved.
