Sumo Solheimsviken - Bergen

This place was much better than expected. We reserved a table with 11 seats, especially because it was close to the place where we later had team buildings. We were very surprised. Not only that they have taken our order in advance to have food ready as soon as possible when we arrive, but they have also borrowed a person who works at vests to serve us. She was Canadian, somehow chatting and casual, but in a good professional way and everyone was very satisfied with their service. She really raised it on a new level. But also the restaurant was really nice and cozy. Toilet was like a spa. But above all the food was amazing! We tried Sim-Sim, combo for one, chicken in Sauersauce, Korean bowl and a dish with 4 desserts. Everyone was amazed. Reccommend!

After some time in Japan I am quite sceptical about Japanese restaurants abroad. That's not the case. Seafood and sushi are very fresh, the right quality, gyoza much above expectations. Courses are of a reasonable size. Japanese tea could be a classic way, it is a necessary component also in Norway. Whatever, serious reasons to try the main course next time.

It doesn't matter with Sumo. Sumo in lagoons, Solheimsviken or others. The 100 times I ordered food, it's always amazing. Except once, but the cook was new. Sumo is a winner of competitors, but without question is worth the ekstra money. Compared to cyclo, iSushi, Sabrura and SushiNamNam, Sumos food beats them all. No questions asked.

Amazing food (I had noodles as main couse and cheesecake balls for the desert) and a very friendly staff. Ordering and payment by app was also smooth.

Very nice Asian restaurant and food! We were looking for a quick dinner after landing in Bergen. The place was very calm and the staff very nice. Great selection of food at a moderate price. I would definitely recommend it!
