Ma-ma Thai - Bergen

I went there looking for some vegan lunch, the staff didn 't seem to know what it was, I explained the concept and she showed me the options listed as vegetarian on the menu, just to make sure it was suitable for me, she kindly told me the whole list of ingredients... I couldn 't disguise my scared face when she said that there were FISH SAUCE on a dish labeled as vegetarian! I really appreciate her effort to find me some option, but after that I just had to leave and try to find some place else. Updated from previous review on Tuesday May 26, 2015

I just really enjoyed canton soup and a lamb curry. The soup was a fairly large part and very tasty without ornaments, although I added some spicy bean sauce. I asked for a spicy curry because I'm quite used to spicing. It was not as spicy as I had prepared myself, but it was a wonderful (almost perfect) combination of heat and taste. The service was neat and very personal. I highly recommend it.

Food and excellent service. Our youngest one looks like something and they did everything to keep him happy. Shall we go back there? Absolutely!

General portions, delicious, great service, beautiful atmosphere and ambience. Would recommend!

This has to be done of the best Thai food in Bergen (although it is only the second one we've tried . The waitress/(owner? is a very nice. It is on a handy location, half way between the railway station and the town center.
