Italia Antica - Berching

A detailed review is not worth this Ristorante! We stayed there for dinner on 06.04.2018 the only guests. Ambience is actually interesting, but somehow bleak when you fill the guest rooms on two levels. When the boss enters the daily newspaper at his regular table deepened and frightened whether our trespass now wants to go with him to eat. We chose a window table in the upper floor with a view of the walks of the city wall. The maps came and we had a lot of pizzen in Italy during the last two weeks really enjoying the offered Rumpsteaks. So we ordered: 1x Costata al gorgonzola. Pommes and supplement salad at 15,90 € 1x Costata alla boscaiola Pommes and supplement salad at 15,90 €. Add a white beer and an apple choir to a total of 5,60 €. Upps, the boss fell in time before turning off after our order: his friteuse was broken and thus there were no pommes. So, as an alternative, we went to Rosmarinkartoffeln. The drinks came fast. The two dishes lasted a little longer and we were good hope that we would get some delicious freshly prepared served. What then came... The rosemary apples drank in a spicy oil broth and rosemary could only be seen in traces with the magnifying glass. The Rumpsteaks slept in the sauces assigned to them (Gorgonzola , or Speck . The flesh of my wife was luxuriantly permeated by flexes and, moreover, by a very peculiar consistency and taste, not to assign any star class at all. My ragsteak was not covered with so many flexes, but rather comparable in consistency with a sawing paste baked out in binding substance. The supplemental salads came to 90% from the plastic bag, pre-puncted in a variety and right-handed; the dressing over it was also not a self-creation. By the way: My wife is not drinking high-percentage! But back in our camper she demanded a double GRAPPA from my stock to prevent worse! I agreed with the same intuition to their measure. Food quality inadequate! Our criticism has been dismissed with the remark Unfortunately one cannot look into the flesh. That's it! Striking cleanliness defects were not recognizable. Service: The boss short and short. The feminine service force redseelig, concerning Smalltalk; but she had all the time to entertain us; no one else was there! Super delicious pizza. The waiting period was a bit long, as many pizzas were ordered for pickup. But waiting really was worth it. We like to come back.

Absolutely delicious. Prices are totally moderate. A rustic ambience inside, a beautiful ambience. Like in a small alley in Italy. We like to come back.

Wonderful restaurant. Very delicious food with large portions at very small prices. Intimately located, right next to a small park and with great ambience in a small alley. Friendly staff and more than 5 stars

We took a break on our bike tour in Berching and ordered a pizza to take away in the Italia Antica. We were very excited about the excellent pizza and the big salad.
