Smokewood American Grill - Bentonville

I stopped at this restaurant during an 8-hour flight delay. The bartender quietly asked me, "What can I get you?" without even looking in my direction, so I didn't realize she was talking to me. When she rudely repeated, "What can I get you ma'am!" I placed my order. However, I did not receive any silverware or napkins, and she never came back to check on me. I had to reach over to grab some cocktail napkins to eat my wings. Thankfully, the woman left and was replaced by a young man and a young girl who were both wonderful and saved the experience. I had ordered wings without sauce, but they had a seasoning on them that was not mentioned on the menu. This was an issue for me as I have allergies and couldn't ask about the seasoning. On a positive note, I got wings and two drinks for just $24, which was cheap for an airport. However, there was no information about allergens, so I was unsure if the seasoning was safe for me. The wings were mediocre but acceptable considering the limited options at the airport.

This airport restaurant was surprisingly good. The hamburger and baked beans were just as good as any I have had in Northwest Arkansas.

This restaurant is a fantastic spot to enjoy a meal during layovers, and the portions are generous.

Our flight was delayed 4 hours by United. My wife and I sat at the bar at 7:33pm. A female employee stared at us for almost 5 minutes before coming over. She walked behind the bar and said with a nasty voice, “What can I get you?” I asked my wife what she wanted and the employee said, “Drinks only. The kitchen is closed.” I told her we only wanted drinks. She seemed put out that we were there and said again, “What do you want?” I ordered a Modelo and she said they were out of Modelo. I asked her what they did have. She was still angry and rattled off three tap beers. My wife said, “I don’t want anything…” and the nasty employee said, “Good.” I’m sorry you have to work at 7:30 at the airport. Believe me, I would rather be back home but my flight was delayed. Thank you for being a horrible person. We will never eat at your restaurant. We travel to Fayetteville quite a bit. Gross.

Parker was amazing he made my mining trip by providing the best customer service experience ever. Plus the food was amazing ? people definitely should eat here everytime they fly in or out. Highly recommended ? ?
