Rossi Sapori - BENTIVOGLIO

The fact that Rossi Sapori is located within a very large business-meeting Hotel may influence some people in not appreciating how good this restaurant is. I loved the zafferano tagliolini with asparagus and salsiccia, the tuna steak was huge and the dessert really good. All this with a glass of wine for a set lunch of 35 euros, that I believe was very good value for money given the quality of the food. I also appreciated the helpful and fast service.

I did not go to the restaurant, i ordered room service from the restaurant so I'm only rating the food I had. I tried the Bolognese pasta. This was probably the local recipe and not the one we know in the rest of the world I agree. But i did not like at all the pasta. That's probably the first time ever i do not enjoy pasta... dessert was ok. Price were a little high for the quality of food.

If you find yourself in the country north of Bologna, and ready for a pleasant meal in luxury surroundings, this restaurant, in the Hotel Centergross, is a wonderful opportunity just off the highway. Although they are most used to serving guests of the hotel of congress center banquets, we found that walking in from a long day trip as tourists was welcome. The staff were quite friendly, made good suggestions as to what was best from the kitchen that night, and served a very good meal promptly. An excellent alternative to the pizzerias and cafes so much on the road.

We had a very good and relaxing dinner. The staff was extremely kind and careful with us. Try the culatello with artichokes or the carne salada as appetizer, the tagliatelle with ragout d'anatra (bolognese sauce with duck) is a must. Interesting and reasonably priced wine list. The location is close to the highway. We suggest to modify the interior style: not adequate with the local context and taste.
