Jimmy's Red Lion - Benidorm

Headed into Benidorm for a weekend break and came across Jimmy's Red Lion bar. Really good fun inside and well looked after by Jimmy. Will be back in the future.

This is one of those places that when you find it, you always go back to. Jimmy and Yvette are absolutely brilliant, very friendly, the food is top quality and the service is second to none. Love this place. Well done Jimmy and Yvette. Keep up the good work and hopefully kev and I will see you again in November xx Diane garnett

So relieved to find jimmys open as they are normally on holiday for the 1st week of our holiday. Still by far the best food in Benidorm. Jimmy still his usual happy self despite this virus. Yvette still cooking the best home made food. Well worth a visit and support our Brits!!!! Margaret and Dave from Wigan.

Ate and drank here almost every night during our holiday, same as we have been doing twice a year for several years now. Good selection of food and drink, and prices very reasonable. Unfortunately, this year I spent 3 days in hospital with an irregular heart beat, and didn't have a chance to thank Jimmy Yvette for their hospitality. I wasn't eating very much this year for some reason, and mostly ordered just a sandwich for my evening meal. So I can't comment on the main meals, but I would recommend the BLT to anyone wanting a snack. Hope to see you again in a year or two (if my wife lets me away on my own), and I'll bring some more home-made black bun with me.

Jimmy, Yvette and her daughter (sorry don't know their name) offer a very welcoming bar to eat, drink, watch football or listen to music. Jimmy is a brilliant host, works well in the early hours and enjoys his work clearly. He is friendly, funny and attentive to detail. A friendly guy who does what he does very well. The food prepared and cooked by Yvette and daughter is wonderful see photo below on Sunday roast! The Steak Pie is an authentic plate cake, homemade with short crust paste and tasty with muddy peas and homemade chips. A medium all day breakfast is cooked well and great at any time of the day. They do not skip to quality or portions. The bar isn't rudding, Jimmy wouldn't let it! It is only full of friendly holidaymakers of all ages looking for good food and drinks. Jimmy is a home from home and we have many beautiful people there during the week we spent in Benidorm. We will definitely return to Jimmys!
