Bidrage med feedbackUPDATE to Michelle 's response to my review from 06/19/2023:Im completely baffled and a bit blown right now with inconsistencies and stuff that has just been fabricated in her response to my review below: 1. As the guest list grew, I consistently asked you if this is feasible for you, if you can get it set up in the time frame. You more than assured me, even stating your goal was to be set up early by 4:45pm! You added additional staff after the guest list grew, consistently reassured me that that 1.5 hours was plenty of time to set up. You never once asked me to extend the set up period! You 're set up that day entailed placing the linens on the table, food table and photo booth. I had a crew there that put together all the center pieces for the table that took the entire 1.5 hours, and the beverage station. So your timing shouldn 't have been an issue. Again, continuing to reassure me that it was not a problem that you can get my party set up in the time frame, even stating you had just set up an 80s party for 200 people just recently in a short amount of time. I extended the facilities contract tear down period from 10pm to the 11pm as you requested, after my I had initially signed the contract with them to accommodate your request. Your tear down began at 9:30pm as your contract stated. Once 10pm hit, I had my guests assist in help break everything down, the linens, center pieces. tables, chairs, etc. The only thing my guests didn 't touch was the food/kitchen area and the Photo Booth you had set up. So that was sufficient time to break down. 2. You never once mentioned simplifying the appetizer bar once I had supposedly expressed dissatisfaction with the dessert idea outlined in the menu . When we initially spoke and we verbally talked about dessert, you verbally made your suggestions, and that 's when I mentioned the waffle bar. There was nothing outlined in the menu yet at that time. Your first draft of the contract indicated my waffle bar, with the full appetizer bar that you came up with initially. There was never any mention of doubling the price since I had suggested the waffle bar initially. I have a copy of the first draft. So I 'm not quite sure where this is all coming from right now??? And yes, you did initially suggest to compensate me for the lack of the appetizer bar (not to mention my broken sign at a rate of a mere $0.14/per head. That was an insult! 3. The final guest count was provided 2 weeks before the event, with the exact number of tables, and linens needed at that time, before the final deposit was paid. We did increase from 115 to a 136 count one week before the event. 4. The rental items that I had agreed upon that were on the contract and provided, again, fell way below par. The photo booth set up was off, the completely wrinkled linens that you said were ironed and left out in the sun that wrinkled them, and than placed on my tables as such, etc., etc. All rental items were agreed upon before the final balance was due. I do see you added a NC to the pipe/drape line item on the contract, after the event took place, that you choose to place behind the food table (this was the 12ft pipe/drape you initially told me that was going to go behind my Photo Booth . 5. Event planning you said you do it all as far as planning parties. You had mentioned very specific items you were going to do (green colored cubes in the water containers to add pizzaz to the decor , the signage you mentioned when we did the walk thru, and than when asked about it later you said oh, I thought you were going to do that (I remained silent as I started to see a pattern on things , said it was going to be beautiful, and other specifics you mentioned. These were all items you mentioned in front of my daughter (guest of honor as well. You kept asking me if I wanted to add things, (disco ball, take aways, etc. which I declined for various reasons. 6. Again, as the list grew, twice, I continually asked you if you are capable of t
Michelle Exceeded Expectations for Wife’s Birthday PartyMy wife is hard to impress for her birthday. She doesn’t like expensive gifts, but does food-centered events and adventures with our friends. I initially considered finding a cooking class somewhere and invite some of our friends but all the options seemed like a hassle and a bit impersonal. I then read about a chef that would take the class to your home and I thought – perfect. When I contacted Michelle she listened to my objectives and we determined that a cooking demonstration centered on paella would be perfect. In fact, she said that she will make the event an evening in Spain. The challenge was going to be making this a surprise, but Michelle coordinated with all of us, and my wife was totally caught off guard. That soon turned to delight to learn that she had an evening with her friends and learning about how to make paella ahead of her. Exactly what I had hoped for.Michelle served great appetizers, and then presented a special ham and gave a talk about the region in Spain it came from and why it was unique. The yard was decorated with a huge LOVE sculpture, and every detail of the evening was well thought out.Dinner was for 11, and she managed to do the demonstration while coordinating all the activities needed for the approaching meal. Our guests loved the demonstration and Michelle talked about every aspect of the process. I certainly learned a lot.Dinner was fabulous. We had a garden salad, much of it from her garden. Then to the centerpiece, the paella. Everyone agreed it was delicious to say the least. Michelle made each guest comfortable, and everyone got personal attention as she juggled activities in the kitchen. As the evening came to an end, my wife kept repeating how pleased she was, and how she loved sharing this special evening with some of our closest friends. I could not be more pleased. After thanking her for such a wonderful experience, we went to bed while Michelle cleaned up. When we woke up the next morning everything was in order with some tasty leftovers in our refrigerator to savor over the next few days. Very cool.As I declared at the dinner, Michelle made my dreams come true for my wife that made my dreams come true. So Michelle, thank you so much for a wonderful experience my Terri and our guests will always remember, you absolutely exceeded my expectations.

We had a great experience this past weekend with Suppers On! Michelle is very flexible and able to work with all people involved. She is a good communicator and organizer of events. We really appreciate her!
Michelle planned and prepared a fantastic dinner for my husband and me right on the beach in Benicia. We highly recommend trying this special experience out! The sunset was lovely and the food incredible.
