Bidrage med feedbackWe used Benicarlo as a base for travelling out to other locations. At the end of one long day, we opted to try La Bocano. Staying at the Parador meant that it was just a nice 5 minute stroll to the restaurant. Evening service started at 8.30 pm. Spain were playing in the Euros so the place was fairly empty apart from four other locals who were also eating. My wife opted for Dover Sole and I went for the lamb chops as mains. Both came with a great vegetable medley of sauted artichoke, peppers, courgette and peas. Both mains were enjoyable accompanied by glasses of very good house wine. Desserts were crème catalan nice and wobbly but the caramel was just a touch overdone. Good coffee and complimentary after dinner drinks and think the bill came to less than 45 Euros. Nice easy eating.
