Bidrage med feedbackWe went for South Indian veg thali on Christmas day. Firstly, given the price of 3500/ per thali, one would expect a drink or shorbha to be included. A meal in MTR comes with a soup, fruit juice, lassi etc. Secondly, there was no description of what we were going to be served and we had to ask. Thirdly the restaurant was called Dakshin but the whole meal was more of Kerala cuisine. I feel more elements of Tamilnadu, Andhra, Karnataka could have been incorporated (like kuzhi paniyarams, kosambari, pineapple pachadi, sweets like adhirasam etc). For eg. I can say with confidence that this is the 1 place in Bengaluru where the rasam which is a Karnataka specialty was underwhelming. There were no second helpings offered on any of the items and we had to ask for refills of papads (which was served right at the beginning and not with the rice course). 2 desserts were served again for a price of 3500/ , one would expect a more elaborate menu. Overall not a very satisfactory experience.
