Ex Lion Tamer - Bendigo

I used to enjoy this cafe for its menu, but I now find it to be tired and fairly limited. Additionally, I think it is rather expensive. The 2pm closing time on weekends is also quite outdated.

Went for breakfast. The Pork Belly Eggs Benedict (can’t remember what it was actually called) was incredible. Recommend.

We headed here for a business meeting today ... it is prominently located at the entrance to the Railway Station- on the roundabout. Weather was really nice so we opted to sit outside. We located a table- service was quick- our orders were taken- delivery of our coffees was reasonably quick. The gentleman who served the table was exceptionally professional. This is a great choice for business meetings.

Visiting Bendigo for the weekend and found this busy cafe. We loved the food (scrambled egg avo on toast) awesome coffee too. We would recommend it.

What can I say lovely food and very big size of egg dishes particularly scrambled eggs a bit too big for me but good just the same Pity they don’t stay open a little longer on weekends particularly long weekends came back through Maldon which was buzzing 20mins on to Bendigo which was dead!
