Super cool “resort”. Charming, quaint, relaxing and a bit magical. Highly recommend.Rooms: Quaint, comfortable and clean.Walkability: The campus is walkable and very inclusive. Lots of things to do within and close to the campus. Plan on spending multiple days here, relaxing in the pool, eating and drinking.Food drinks: Great food, coffee and beer

Really love this hotel, mainly for it's location, charm and the awesome bars, including the firepit and smoking one! (although if your room overlooks this terrace, all your clothes and items will smell like smoke for weeks afterwards). The location is kind of perfect, walking distance to all of downtown Bend, with a lot of cafes, restaurants and shops right outside the front door. (which is good because the food is nothing to write home about at the hotel). I'd say the biggest drawback of this hotel is the darkness. The rooms are very dim, just a few ceiling lights that don't let off any light, you can't see much at all, even with all the lights on and curtains open. The hallways are also very dark. Perhaps in the winter it might feel sort of cozy but in the summer, with all the wood paneling and dark carpets, it's little depressing.

Nice bar, good beers, nice people. Do not miss the speakeasy.
