La Rosa Brookswood Plaza - Bend

We often go to La Rosa. Jocilyn is always friendly and offers a great service. I am not happy with their new “Happy Hour appetizers only in the bar” policy. Kinda suck when you have kids and everything you want is a drink, appetizers and feed them. I'll be my participation next time. In Fairness the bar and restaurant are practically the same.

We were incredibly disappointed with La Rosa. The service is horrible. It took 15 minutes to be acknowledged at our table and at least 25 minutes before we got a drink. Our server failed to check in on us once the food was served and failed to check in on us when our drinks were empty. We had the same issue with extremely poor service the visit prior to this one. And there were only 3 tables with diners at that visit. We understand why this location is closing in December 2019.

Will, Guadalupe, Kayla and the rest of the gang at La Rosa are always solid. Nice people who make you want to return. They always make me and my family feel welcome.

Our table was set up and ready upon our arrival, with chips, salsa, refried beans and water, and a reserved sign. Walked right in and sat down. All wait staff was very friendly and helpful! I had the camarones tropicales and it was wonderful! My husband had a cilantro-lime chicken dish which was good. I had noted on the reservation that it was my hubby's birthday and they brought out a big square plate with ice cream churros, dripped with caramel and redi-whip... Yummy! Great experience!!

Beautiful local Mexican, great friendly staff amazing food. Good selection of local brews too.
