Cascada At Pronghorn Resort - Bend

Mother's brunch wasn't what we expected. when we made the reservation, I called and asked if brunch would take place on Mother's Day, which refers to her champaign brunch. I was told that brunch is every Sunday. when we came to the restaurant, it was in a ballroom and a buffet style. nothing like what was stated a few weeks ago in the internet, nor what was stated when calling. it felt like a company breakfast instead of a mother's day celebration. celebrating mom should be more than a touch, limp speck or an obstplatte. To round it off, it was $95 a head with only one free mimosa for mom’s. filz rushed, last minute and sad. try their actual brunch and double check for the holiday that it is not a buffet.

We haven't been in pronghorn for over a year and our time there last Friday was excellent.

The menu selection is very, very limited. In addition, there is no alternative for anything other than very rich food. The steaks are excellent, but if you're not in the mood for steak, your selection is minimal. There is no ordinary green salad. Something simple and plain would be welcome.

Excellent brunch. The service was incredible. Beautiful setting.

It was so nice to go to a restaurant where employees were actually happy to see you. We had a great experience and I thought everything flowed really well the food was great and I would definitely go back
