Big O Bagels - Bend

I was pleased to find a good variety of bagels at this restaurant. When I ordered my bagel with cream cheese on the side, they provided two small containers, which I thought was just the right amount for one bagel. I visited on a Saturday and there were about three groups ahead of me in line. I strongly recommend double-checking your order if they bring out two at the same time, as my bagel sandwich got mixed up with someone else's; unfortunately, I ended up with a different flavor and no cream cheese! It was a bit disappointing, but it could have been a result of the busy atmosphere. The sandwiches are wrapped in foil to keep them warm but are not labeled, so I had no idea what I was getting until I opened it after leaving. I tried the vegan cream cheese, which was okay—nothing exceptional—but I appreciate that they offer a vegan option!

This bagel shop is one of the worst experiences I've ever had. The bagels themselves are disappointing—dense, flat, and with a doughy flavor. I also ordered a Lox Box, but after waiting nearly ten minutes, I was informed that they were out of lox. At 10 AM on a Sunday? The staff all seemed very young and lacked any proper management or leadership. There was no organization or flow, just chaos, especially with a crowd of 15 people arriving shortly after I placed my order. The coffee bar was out of service, and the hot brewed coffee tasted stale. We won’t be returning, but I hope the owner can improve the management to support the staff, who clearly need better guidance.

The bagels here are fantastic. We tried a breakfast bagel and one with garlic herb spread, and they were perfect before our hike. There's a wide variety to choose from, some parking available out front, and the lines tend to move quickly.

Came in for the first time yesterday, and had a great experience. The store was clean and the staff was extremely helpful. Thank you Big Ol Bagels for the amazing breakfast.

Still searching for a decent bagel in Bend. I'd describe Big O as edible. The plain bagels have no flavor and are really hard and chewy. It left a weird, bitter aftertaste in my mouth. I assume that is why they insist on mixing other crap into the dough, because their basic dough is kind of yucky.
