Truk't Street Tacos, Tequila Whiskey

Went with a group of 12. Seated right away. The restaurant was not overly busy. Server took our orders. I ordered two chips and salsas for the tables and an order of three tacos. Chips didn’t come out until right before the food. Unfortunately my food (tacos) never came, also another person at the table never got her food either.The server did not come back to check on us until we were wrapping up. Luckily one of my friends shared her nachos. When the server finally came to check on us she made no apology for not having our food. She offered no service recovery. No offer to comp a portion of my bill.I really want to like this place! The atmosphere is great! I love the open walls and the location is super! And the drinks are very good too!I understand things can go wrong, but the service could have been so much better! I have many servers and former servers in my family so I have a sympathy when it looks like things are going south for them. It’s really unfortunate that our server that day does not understand the need for apologies and service recovery.

We went here for my birthday today. Our first time. Like others have said, the road noise is really loud. The Brussels sprouts were great. I had the surf and turf tacos and the meat had gnarly stuff in it that I couldn't eat. Don't know if I would go back, but it was a fun and unique experience.Food: 4/5

First time in Beloit, WI and we wanted to checkout the downtown area which was really cute. A friend recommended Truk't and it was a great place for tacos and margaritas. We got all sorts of tacos, Jamaican jerk chicken rice bowl and spicy peach margarita! ? The chips and salsa, and elote were ok.Food: 4/5

The food is amazing! The servers and staff are great. They have an infinite and creative bar menu. It's a cute place overall. The only drawback is how LOUD it is. It was impossible to converse without yelling, and even that doesn't work when a band is playing. The servers were apologizing when we couldn't hear them asking questions. Maybe some acoustic sound absorbing panels or something like that around the dining areas would help.

We stopped by for a little lunch after going to the farmers market. I had the three tacos plate. Al pastor, Korean bbq, Baja fish. They were very good but 3 for $16 is a bit pricey for tacos.
