Benedetti's Supper Club - Beloit

The food was terrible; my steak was overcooked and dry, and it felt like it had just been reheated. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place—it's overpriced, and I could barely read the menu because the print was so faint. The salad bar was overcrowded, with people bumping into each other, and I didn't even have time to enjoy my salad before my food arrived. I will never return! The waitress seemed to cough a lot, almost like she was a smoker. They took my filet mignon and still charged me for it, and the salad bar and potato were subpar. They should have apologized and taken my meal off the bill or offered to cook another steak. It was such a disappointment!

After reviewing the website for Benedetties, we were extremely disappointed with the actual restaurant experience. We definitely won’t be returning. It was quite busy on Friday evening, but my fried cod was stale and seemed like it had been sitting around for a while before being served. I've had delicious, freshly fried cod in the past, and this was definitely not it.

This is an incredible old-school supper club! The drinks, food, and service were all excellent. I really wish we lived closer so we could come here more often! Food rating: 5/5.

We loved this place. Food was good. They have a smaller menu on Friday which we didn't realize and were a little disappointed but decided to have the fish fry baked cod) It was a quality piece of fish 2). The baked potato was wonderful, large and fresh baked today. I'm a gourmet and sometimes restaurants try to pass off a potato baked yesterday. This one was EXCELLENT baked today for sure. We started with calamari. It was really, really good. Probably the best I've ever had. I want to mention the New England clam chowder. I thought it was pricey at 6 a cup when I saw it on the menu but worth every penny. Very delicious. We also shared a brandy ice dessert. We didnt put a dent in it. Its made with a QUART of ice cream. They gave us a plastic container to take it home. All in all A+! Great service, food great, clean and cozy. I would probably say .

Food was excellent. Waitress was friendly and upbeat. Would definitely eat here again in the future. Next time I will try to the spiked ice cream as I was too full this first time.Food: 5/5
