This place looks so unappealing from the outside but never has a statement of don't let appearances fool you been more true. What an amazing meal! We were a table of 13 on a Tuesday night and the place was packed!!! I ordered the $90 seafood platter for two and every single dish was a delight to eat. Best oyster I have had in Perth and the fish both battered and grilled tasted like it had just jumped out of the river and on to the plate. There is a really good wine list plus it's BYO wine ($6 corkage) The only thing bad I could say was service was a tad slow, I could not deduct point for that as the food was really an 6/5. I dare anyone to try this place out and not love it!
Yuck. Small crayfish, frozen squid rings, terrible food overall. Not even worth the drive from applecross. Don't waste your time here. A real disgrace to Perth's seafood scene. Even Kailis and Sweetlips do a better job.
Ordered deluxe and normal seafood platters. Food was appalling. Prawns frozen. Crayfish grainy. Fish is probably frozen and reheated. Lobster tasted like rubber. This is probably the worst restaurant in Perth for seafood. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place.
We were lucky to get in early on a Saturday evening at very short notice as the restaurant was very busy - all the staff were excellent and extremely attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and specials - we started with garlic bread (very generous serve) and oysters which were fresh and tasty. Mains were barramundi and grilled fresh cray - the Barramundi was excellent and came with fresh crisp vegetables - our only criticism was that cray was a touch overdone which was a bit disappointing given the price.... overall a pleasant dining experience - we will go back to try the $14 pastas during the week!
