Very disappointed. Food was very ordinary. The lobster was tasteless and tough with no flavour at all. No additional utensils to lodge the dry lobster out of shell. Chips came after meals. Staff very nice but very under dressed for dinner service. We would not have minded the expense if it was a dining experience with great food. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

This is a very difficult place to review. Hard to decide between 3 or 4 stars. This was our second visit and this time we had the banquet. On both occasions the food was excellent. Well presented, extremely tasty and good portion sizes. The staff were all polite and friendly. But. There were two main issues. Despite their pleasantness the staff were quite disorganised. They would flit all over the place with no continuity. They would all descend on one area of the restaurant and neglect the rest, and ten minutes later attack another area. It is not their fault; they need a good manager and a plan, neither of which was present. But the main issue was the banquet concept itself. I can understand the rule that everyone at the table has to have the banquet or no one can. But surely when the main meal of the banquet is a choice of chicken, fish or pasta, why does everybody at the table have to have the same meal. Eight “dishes” of chicken gets a bit boring, especially when they are shared plates, and not just one serve per person. I think this concept needs a rethink. Great food, great location but just gets a bit too complicated.
