I stopped in for a Chai on my way through town today. My first visit to this sweet little coffee shop and was witness to a simple kindness that renewed my faith in humanity for the afternoon. As I was seated with my back to the counter, I heard the young man behind the counter greet a customer and tell him I 'm buying you a coffee today . When the man asked him why he would do that he said I don 't know the details but I heard you are going through some hard times. I like having you come around so I am going to buy your coffee today . The power of this simple act of kindness was not lost on me. I will be back to this shop whenever I am town. Thanks for making my day a little brighter.. and the Chai was good too.
