Maxwell's Pizza - Bellevue

Bio Ol’ Cheese Pizza was solid. Well executed tavern pie. Crisp bottom with a good chew, cheese and sauce to the edge. Really good cold next morning as well.Welcome change of pace, good pizza made with care.

We ordered the Margarita Pizza. We got just pizza with a few diced tomatoes. Looked nothing like any Margarita pizza I've ever had. No drizzle as advertised. The pizza was average tasting at best. We got sandwiches too and the portions were a bit small. We heard good things and wanted to try this place. Needless to say we won't order from there again. I feel like we wasted our money.

Greeted by new owner Dan when I stopped in to grab my pepperoni pie. He was super down-to-Earth and seemed to genuinely want to know what my daughter and I thought about changes he was implementing. The pizza was great, I dunno exactly how but it seemed higher-quality than pizza I got at Maxwell's previously; like it was more substantial. Great staff, great food and their online ordering is so much better than some other local places. We will be back for sure!Kid-friendliness: Large indoor seating area that is not too loud. Plenty of room to spread out.

We ate at Tavern Pizza on a Saturday evening. Service was great and the pizza was even better.The gluten free pizza was really good ... and the best part is that the leftovers heated nicely and still tasted great.We will definitely return.
