Fern Thai - Bellevue

The food was delicious, and the service was decent. The atmosphere was pleasant, with distinct vibes in different dining areas. However, I found the portion sizes to be a bit smaller than expected for the price. The fish in the "Pla neung manow" was overcooked. The drunken noodles had a lovely aroma, but one side was brown from the sauce while the other side was not. Despite the appealing scent, the flavor was quite bland. On the other hand, the Pad Thai was delightful, featuring a unique presentation with banana blossom, which was quite interesting. My parents really enjoyed it.

I had an amazing experience at this Thai restaurant. It’s advisable to make a reservation ahead of time. The ambiance is lovely, and the food is exceptional—really delicious. Every dish we ordered met our expectations, and the service was excellent. If you enjoy spicy food, you must try the spicy garlic fried chicken; it’s incredible! I will definitely return the next time I'm in Seattle.

The restaurant has a lot of great outdoor seating options, expanding the cozy space a bit. They feature a smaller happy hour selection of shareable dishes and cocktails, and their main dishes include some unique presentation touches. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and we quite enjoyed our meal.

So delicious. If you're torn on which Thai restaurant to pick, I assure you, you won't be disappointed with this one. The dishes were seasoned so perfectly and the flavors were spot on. Be ready to show your vaccination card at the entrance. Outdoor seating was closed when we arrived but plenty of seating available indoors. Jasmine rice didn’t feel like one and more like a overcooked mushy rice. Roti was too oily and the holy basil didn’t taste a hint of the basil. Green curry on the scale of spice level of 4 wasn’t very spicy. Papaya salad is not vegetarian because they use fish sauce.
