Royal Haveli - Belleville

Stopped on my way from Toronto to Ottawa for dinner and found this place through Yelp. It's at a mall and was a bit difficult to find. It's a small nice place with the appealing ambience. The food is very good especially the biryani, dal and paneer. The quality of rice offered is better than some of the Indian restaurant in Toronto it's also complimentary if you order a gravy dish. The staff was friendly and nice and the washrooms clean (could have been better). We were looking for some genuine food and it was a nice surprise to find it at this place. Go for it !

Royal Haveli is always our go to. With lots of vegetarian and vegan options- it works perfectly for our whole family! The naan is perfect every time and the samosas are so good! We recommend to all our family and friends. Keep it up guys!

The food has never arrived on time, even when we were the only ones waiting, and it did not meet our expectations. Customer service needs improvement. Based on my experience, I would rate this restaurant just one star for both the food and the service we received.

If you're in Belleville and have a taste for Indian cuisine, this is the spot you shouldn't miss! The food and service are fantastic. The owner and host is exceptionally friendly; he went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home, ensuring that we were satisfied with both our meals and our overall experience. We requested the lamb vindaloo to be spicy, and he was more than willing to accommodate us. The restaurant's atmosphere was also very pleasant. Don't miss the onion bhaji appetizer; it was outstanding!

My husband and I dined here last night and had a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely delicious! We ordered vegetarian dishes, and the chef kindly came to our table to inquire if we wanted them to be vegan, which we did. We really appreciated that gesture. We're not big fans of very spicy food, so we requested mild spice, and they were happy to accommodate us. The atmosphere was lovely, and the service was excellent. To top it off, they had Karlo Estates Wine, our favorite winery in the County, which was a delightful bonus.
