Bake Shoppe - Belleville

LOVE the Bake Shoppe!!! Always a smile and AWESOME Goodies for my husband. Extremely favorable and ready to do everything they can for special orders. I needed doughnut holes for my daughters kindergarten class (only needed 50), so I sent my neck down to ask if they could be ready... They told him they don't have doughnuts (because of the way they do their donuts) but NO PROBLEM! She says... I'll take my equipment to make it... Who does this today? Especially for a piddly $10 order? In any case, they have made the doughnut holes (with 100, instead of 50 and REFUSED to let us pay more). The children suffered them, and they had enough to share with an adjacent classroom! My daughter 6th birthday comes up, and I can't wait to see what they're doing for her! Super excited to see it and eat it!! I can't recommend this bakery enough. Your product is wonderful, hours tall, prices MORE as reasonable, and people are the best. I can't believe we're happy enough to live the way from such a great institution!

Skip the bad reviews. The only bad reviews of this place come from the same horrified family. I don't know their situation, but I doubt someone was attacked. If so, why didn't the police call? Whatever. If you saw the size of the lady that leads the place you would laugh. I've been here for many years and every time the cakes and other treats are glorious! You will even take you as a walk-in and decorate your cake while you wait. Try to do this at your local bakery. I'm not talking halfway. She's a master. They are the nicest people I have ever dealt with in this business and will continue to use them for any occasion that requires. And some not. Try their new pizza and I HIGHLY recommend the cherry cake. Yummy!

Fine. I am really surprised to read the negative reviews. Although I never ordered a cake from here, I love getting a box of goodies on weekends. Everything is delicious and very cheap, especially for the nature of the treats. There are things I wouldn't have ever thought about before, and my friend LOVES's cake doughnuts.

One of my coworkers actually recommended this place to me, and man am I glad I went! What a wonderful, cute little bakery!! They have such beautiful little cakes, we were so surprised! The last “independent” bakery we had gone to only had 2 cakes on display, but this place had a FRIDGE FULL!! But don’t just stop in there for their cakes, you have GOT to try one of their donuts, fritters, puffs… pretty much EVERYTHING, one of everything in there! Their food is honest, phenomenal, and delicious. And the people that work there, they’re absolutely awesome. So patient with my indecisiveness, and so kind! Thank you guys for a wonderful experience! I would recommend you guys to EVERYONE everywhere hands-down.
