Lulu's Bistro - Bellaire

Not only a great restaurant for Northern Michigan; One of our favorite restaurants ANYWHERE! Very hip, urban atmosphere, innovative, flavorful food.

We chose to dine at Lulu's on Sunday night because our favorite spot, Toonie's, was closed for the evening. What a big mistake! The restaurant didn't appear to be busy, and when I inquired with an employee about the crowd, she told me they weren't.

Not only is this a fantastic restaurant for Northern Michigan, but it's also one of our favorite places to eat anywhere! The ambiance is trendy and urban, and the food is both innovative and flavorful.

My husband and I recently took a fall color tour through Northern Michigan, and one of our stops was in Bellaire, where I spent many summers as a child. A local business owner recommended LuLu's Bistro, and it was absolutely fantastic! It turned out to be the highlight of our trip. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, the spinach salad, and, of course, the wonderful company!
