Bidrage med feedbackAfter going to the movies, we purchased two orders of chips to snack on while walking home. Unfortunately, the chips were mostly hard and some were burnt. I have never experienced anything like it from any other chip shop in the area. I will not be buying from there again, especially at £3.75 each. We ended up having to throw them away.
This used to be the best fish and chip shop in East Belfast, Sadly no longer. I ordered a Cod Supper. Don't know what the fish was but doubt it was cod. A thinly cut and flavourless slice of something greasy accompanied by soggy limp chips. Still, no waste as I have a dog. A dear dinner for him mind you and back to cheese on toast for me.
This chip shop used to do great chips with decent portions and fresh northern Irish potatoes. I called in for a portion of chips today and got a children’s sized portion for the regular price and the potatoes were not fresh. I can get much better elsewhere and better value.
Called in tonight around teatime, got a cod and a chicken burger. The Bethany was recommend to me by a couple of friends (I live in Bangor) so I travelled over to see what the fuss was about and can say I will be back. Really enjoyed
Had 3 gorgeous cods (massive! tonight with my family. They were so flaky and just fell apart on the fork, beautiful! Will definitely be back! Very pleasant staff also! All full of smiles, nice to see!
