Apartment - Belfast

I visited this restaurant on Friday with a friend for a few drinks, it was our first time there. The layout was similar to an apartment, but they had renovated and replaced everything with wood which created a cozy atmosphere. The bar was nice and the staff were friendly. The only downside was the condition of the toilets. Unfortunately, they were not well-maintained, with the toilet paper in a holder being completely wet. It seemed to have fallen into the toilet and someone had put it back in the holder, which was quite gross. These small details can deter someone from returning.

I visited this restaurant, formerly known as Hell Cat Maggies, and decided to give it a second chance. I had been here a few times when it was The Apartment and had a terrible experience each time, so I'm not sure why I expected anything different. The food was truly terrible and the service was even worse. It seems they need to either replace all of their staff or provide them with better training. The one-star reviews accurately reflect the quality of this place. The toilets, floors, and tables were all disgustingly dirty as well. I would say that this place has gone downhill, but it was never good to begin with. This was such a bad experience. I would not recommend this place if you are looking for good service and tasty food. What shocked me the most was the attitude of the staff. My message to management: hire staff who actually work, rather than just standing around. I urge you to review the CCTV footage for evidence. This was a shocking experience and I will not be returning. I also plan to report this establishment for food hygiene and safety concerns, as it is clearly in need of an inspection.

Excellent service and really good food and choice of beers and wines. Staff are attentive and happy to serve you in a friendly and welcoming manner. Definitely going to meet with friends there again!

I met up with a couple of friends and we decided to go to this restaurant as our first choice was packed. We had been many times in the past, but this time was a completely different experience. The place was dirty, the hygiene standards were poor, the service was inadequate, and the food was not good at all. We couldn't leave fast enough, as the quality of the restaurant has declined significantly. It's a shame because it used to be a good restaurant, but after this terrible experience, we will never return. Nothing about it was good - the food, the service, or the atmosphere. This place desperately needs a deep clean.

Walked in on a Thursday night for a pint with my friend, but as some other people have said it seems like a dirty place and looks and smells like it needs to sniff its armpits and change its deodorant. There was an awful damp smell as we walked up the stairs then when we got up to the bar the damp smell blended in nicely with deep fat fryer oil and fish... lovely! We just turned around and walked back out.
